Long Time, boy how she has grown

I can always think of something I should be doing of more importance than playing on the computer. But I looked at my blog and realized how long it had been.. somethings can wait! And since I actually have quiet time...**knock on wood** and should still be in bed enjoying it I am instead updating! Morgan is now 16 and a half months.. old going on 16 years! She weighs a whooping 22lbs.,, she is my healthy eater! She eats everything in front of her! We are still working on hamburger/turkey meat, I don't think that she quite gets the texture! But she is a blast, she doesn't stop going for a second and TALKS to everyone! Although for the most part we can't make out what she is saying. So Mark and I make up conversations, she thinks it is funny! I wish I was recording more, because her laugh makes my heart smile and she does soooo many funny things. But I do remember to take pics of her -- well, at least once a month! This is from Uncle Allen's ceremony where they named a Gym after him. What a wonderful day! Morgan made a new friend too. Mark says that there was a boy at the bottom of the stairs but he wanted nothing to do with Morgan, and kept pulling his hat down further on his head! So she squatted down on her knees and pulled his hat up and screamed, HI! she is a cutie!! I will try to be better and posting more, but not promising! Love to all!

Pumpkin Patch and Parade.. what a day!

Well, I went to my first pumpkin patch... in my first Halloween outfit and then .. saw my first parade, that my Papa and Cousin were in!! It was awesome.. Just cool enough and the band music was wonderful. My mom and I dance to the music and I waved at everyone and screamed at my Papa -- I was very excited to see him in the cool car! Well, off to nite-nite land so that my mom can try and do some chores.. Have a great week! And HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Just FUN~

So my friend Bry came over and hung out... She loves to hug on me but I don't know why!! She is crazy!! But we love them.. Speckles! Also since it got cold I got the chance to wear overalls for the first time and my Princess night gown.. shh don't tell my mommy and I stayed in our night gowns all day on Saturday! I also discover that I like the laundry basket -- I can't quite figure out how to get out yet, or fold the clothes! (LOL, mom's wish not mine!) I also got my first haircut as you can see it doesn't look half bad it they are swept to the side, but I think my mom should stick to letting my Aunt Lauri cut hair -- because it is really crooked! That is okay it will grow back! Love to all-- have a great week and enjoy the cooler weather!

Remembering...

I remember this dress that I had as a child. I don't remember what color it was but it tied at my shoulders and I loved it.. and I always had my hair in pigtails! Well, when I found out that I was having a girl. I had to go buy some clothes myself.. b/c mommy's just have too! And I couldn't resist this pink dress that tied at the top! Here is the outcome...still a bit big, and not enough hair for pigtails (YET), but none the less GORGEOUS! Enjoy the new 8 month pictures of our pumpkin, I hope that they make you smile as much as they do us...and maybe make you remember that certain "special" outfit you had as a child~ Love to all!

8 Months oh, where did the time go?

Okay she turned 8 months old yesterday! YIKES...slow down! Here are some new photos I thought that I would download, or is it upload her photo shoot- Here are some pics of the ceiling that Mark painted white, but they are going back to tan--DON'T ASK! Here is her one and only mug shot (we hope).. We are going to take prettier, more lady like photos in it later, Mark thought he was being cute! And here is some of her with her day with dad.. Maybe she thinks that if she feeds her hair the Cheerios that it will grow? Who knows?? It will make for a fun bath time for me to night as we discover where else they landed! Oh, the joys of motherhood. Love the laughs though- TOTALLY worth it, and totally contagious!

WOW -- how could I forget!

In my hurry to finish and get monkey and me to bed I forgot the most important thing that we have learn thus far! She said her first word, MOMMA!!! yeah.. Mark told her she could not come out of her room until she learned dadda so we are working on that now! She turns 8 months old on Sunday. Can't believe how fast it has flown -- by the next time I write she might be walking- so don't forget to keep reading! Love you all!
